Registration Opens for the Rawda Bishara Atallah Scholarship Program for the Seventeenth Consecutive Year

The Arab Culture Association opened registration on Tuesday, 27/09/2023, for the Rawda Bishara Atallah Scholarship for the 2023/2024 academic year, which will continue until October 15th.

The scholarship program of the Arab Culture Association was launched in 2007 with the support of the Galilee Foundation - UK and aims to "encourage higher education in the Palestinian community in the interior and build an educated and professional academic vanguard characterized by a spirit of belonging and community giving.

It is worth noting that the program will offer about 50 scholarships this year, specifically for Arab Palestinian students from the 48 regions, who are studying in Israeli or Palestinian universities and colleges, and who are accepted for a B.A degree (first/second year) or an engineering certificate (first year), especially those who are academically outstanding, economically deserving, and possess a volunteer and leadership spirit. In addition to financial support, the scholarship program offers a wide educational program through several workshops for political and social education, as well as an academic support program and a special space for student volunteer initiatives.

It is worth mentioning that the Arab Culture Association launched the "Simak" student scholarship fund a few months ago, a community support fund for Arab students, which will contribute to increasing the number of scholarships and meeting the largest number of eligibility requests that reach hundreds annually. Every year, more than 3000 students register to participate in this valuable academic and educational program.

In a comment by the program coordinators, Lureen Kanaan and Az Odeh, who emphasized the importance of the scholarship in serving the sons and daughters of the Palestinian people, they said: "The scholarship offers more than just financial support to the student; it plays a role in creating a responsible leadership generation, committed to engaging with their people's issues and the need to contribute to their society and homeland, and also believes in taking a role in social change. The Rawda Bishara Atallah Scholarship, with its educational program and continuous support over the years, nurtures a new generation that is aware, responsible, and has a clear identity."

Registration for the scholarship is through the main page, specifically in the scholarships and students section.
